Celebrating the 4th in Tampa



As our world continues to return to normal, many of us are gearing up for a fun holiday weekend celebrating the 4th of July! In this article we want to share a few of the ways you can get out and about to celebrate the 4th safely in the Tampa Bay area.


The Fourth at the St Pete Pier

St Pete hosts a three day celebration from July 2nd to 4th. This inaugural celebration will include food trucks, karaoke, live music, and so much more. The event will culminate in a fireworks show on July 4th at 9pm that will be visible to the entire downtown St Pete waterfront area. Check out the details by visiting the St Pete Pier website.


Mayor Jane Castor’s Boom By The Bay

This event will feature SIX locations that will each feature family friendly activities and fireworks. Locations include Armature Works, Julian B Lane Waterfront Park, Curtis Hixon Park, Tampa Convention Center, Sparkman Wharf, and Bayshore Boulevard. Other activities will take place throughout the downtown area, check the TampaGov website for all the details.


Friends of the Riverwalk Boat Parade

If you are looking for an event that won’t keep you out too late, the inaugural Boat Parade will be visible from Armature Works to Sparkman’s Wharf starting at 5pm. Take a look at the map available on the Friends of the Riverwalk website to determine your optimum viewing location.
